Thanksgiving Update

 

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Americans.

This particular picture by Norman Rockwell, shows a cook at Fort Ethan Allen, Vermont after his Thanksgiving holiday. Working in frozen food distribution, I can empathize. 

As an aside, the former Fort Ethan Allen is now a lovely bucolic neighborhood in Colchester, Vermont and many of the buildings from the fort are still in use. Camp Johnson, the Headquarters for the Vermont National Guard, is a baseball throw down the road from the old fort.
